Just a little opening information about myself:
My name is Matthew Beresford & I am a professional photographer based in Bournemouth,Dorset.
I am a fully qualified member of the Master Photographers Association.
I have many years experience in many forms of photography specialising in wedding photography having undertaken hundreds of weddings over the years
We understand that your wedding day is the biggest day of your life and as such we treat every wedding with the utmost care and includes an initial home consultation with the couple along with a visit to the wedding venues prior to the big day and a final meeting before the day to discuss the fine details such as timings & lists of required photos including the group photos.
My wedding style is very much reportage/candid photography which enables me to capture the true atmosphere of the wedding day along with some creative posed photos and some group photos as required.

I also offer a facility where I edit a 'highlight' selection of the wedding photos while you are having your wedding breakfast & when you & your guests come out from the meal you can see a slide show of the days photos on a large monitor.
I offer a range of contemporary top quality coffee book style digital albums which I design myself along with the more traditional bookbound albums if these are preferred.
All our wedding packages include a free DVD slide-show disc of all the images for you to keep.
As soon as possible after the wedding I will upload all the photos to our online gallery which you will find within this website, family & friends may then order prints if they wish.
We have a great depth of knowledge of most of the wedding venues in the south of England from high class castles and country houses to the smallest and most intimate civil venues. If you haven't yet picked a venue we may be able to help you in your choice,feel free to ask our advice. (see the bottom of this page for detailed information on just some of the venues we have undertaken weddings at).
We also offer: a mobile portrait service where I come to your home or to a suitable location such as the beach or similar beauty spot & photograph you with your partner,family or pets etc.
Event photography: is an immensely popular addition to any function or event:
Be it a black-tie ball,school prom,corporate day or indeed any function & best of all it doesn't normally cost the organisers a penny and guests go home with an added memento of their experience.
We arrive at least an hour before the event is due to start, we set up our mini studio complete with backdrop and professional flash lighting.
Guests can be photographed as they enter the venue and at any time during the course of the event.
Once we've taken a number of photos the guests are invited to review them on our monitors. If they wish to make a purchase we will immediately print the photo and mount it in a presentation mount. The process is complete within a minute and produces stunning photos of the same quality as a commercial photographic laboratory.
Guests go home with their photos as a permanent reminder of the event.
Commercial & P.R. Photography: we are always interested in hearing from companies looking to update their company photography including web & pack shot images along with new start companies large or small who need professional quality images.
